Built to reduce sample damage

The Thermacor is suitable for a range of primary receptacles, including glass tubes. Due to its rigid PVC construction and moulded channels, the Thermacor keeps tubes stable and protected from vibration or movement.

The SAP absorbent layer is incorporated directly, removing the need for separate absorbent pads and simplifying assembly. While the clamshell snap closure allows for quick packing and consistent handling, which is helpful for high-volume or field-based workflows.

Lower costs, Less delays

By limiting breakage, leakage, and transit issues, our containers reduce the number of retests and replacement kits required.

This alone can lower overall costs and help avoid delays associated with damaged shipments. Thermacor’s improved protection also supports better specimen quality and contributes to smoother accessioning and faster turnaround times

Frequently asked questions

How much can I order?

The minimum order quantity is one box. The number of units in a box depends on the specific variant selected and can range from approximately 65 to 500 Thermacors per box.

How does the Thermacor help reduce costs?

The Thermacor’s integrated design eliminates multiple components absorbent pads, and cushioning materials reducing packaging time, training, and inventory management. Fewer damaged or rejected samples also mean lower reprocessing costs and faster lab throughput.

Are the containers single use?

Yes. All Thermacor containers are designed for single use applictaions in biological sample collection.

What makes the Thermacor different from other secondary packaging options?

The rigid clamshell style design provides an added level of protection when transporting primary receptacles, particularly for those working with glass tubes or fragile sample containers. The rigid structure and secure closure help minimise movement and reduce the risk of breakage during transport.
